Senz is based in the Netherlands and developed an umbrella design to do two major things. First, withstand the forces of wind, and second, to address the real way people actually hold umbrellas and maximize coverage. The first thing you'll notice about the Senz umbrella is it's unusual shape. This oblong design assists in two ways. First it makes it almost impossible for the umbrella to "flip" due to a high level of wind, and second it all assist in rain coverage. Think about how the normal person hold an umbrella. Unless the canopy is very large, most of their back is exposed, while they have too much front and side coverage. The teardrop shape of the Senz umbrella is much more ideal for water coverage given how people actually hold and use umbrellas.

It is always a pleasure to hear good news from Linde Werdelin. I recently got word of an interesting new release from the Britain based company. Watch companies are usually silent about new products until the official announcement. You talk with them regularly with no word of something new brewing, and then one day you get the news. Once in a while I'd like to see some "leaked" concept art. Well, this is a really cool new watch, which is actually part old watch. Frankly, it takes a bit of involvement in the industry to fully "get" this watch. Maybe you don't know who Svend Andersen is, or why Linde Werdelin chose to use a 1970s NOS automatic movement for a thoroughly modern timepiece. In a nutshell, it is a clever way to produce something really individual, based on unique partnerships, and a process that other companies can't easily replicate.

There really isn't too much more to say while the phone is in concept phase. As I mentioned before, we totally have the ability to produce this phone, and the fact that the designer, Manon Maneenawa was given an award of ,000 for the design (even if he was a fashion designer) must mean that some people are more than simply interested in producing this interesting phone and timepiece.

Tiffany & Co. Mark T-57 Automatic Watch Review: Sport And Formality Mix With Satisfying Results Wrist Time Reviews Tiffany & Co. Mark T-57 Automatic Watch Review: Sport And Formality Mix With Satisfying Results Wrist Time Reviews So lets get back to the Mark T-57. It is a sportier extension of the standard "Mark" line of watches, which all are very classic in form, providing a mixture of quartz and automatic models. The Mark T-57 watches are the same in this regard. There are three-hand and chronograph models available, with automatic and quartz movements. There is an all steel version, and one that is interestingly covered with a thin layer of vulcanized rubber (sportier still). Lastly, there is a metal bracelet and rubber strap available. More recently, Tiffany & Co. released a much more expensive model in gold (and steel) that features a unique partially skeletonized tri-retrograde chronograph display. Read more about the Tiffany & Co. Mark T-57 line here.

Let's start with a detailed rundown of an extremely impressive (and lengthy) set of features:

Inside is a Panerai caliber OPXII automatic chronograph movement. It isn't in-house made though. Gladly the movement is a certified Chronometer, but Panerai has neglected to mention this on the face. This is a positive or negative trait depending on whom you ask (some people do or don't like lots of text on the face). From a design standpoint, the tri-compax chronograph layout and overall face design is no nonsense. So practical and utilitarian, you might forget it is a Panerai. That isn't to say it isn't nice, but this is of the most function oriented Panerai watches I have ever seen. The 44mm wide case is standard Panerai size, and the titanium used to make the case and bracelet ensures light weight even though the hefty package. The Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight Titanium is an excellent watch for the conservative watch lover who values function and is drawn by the Panerai name.

The Nivrel Shark Sea Tourbillon Is A Rare Tourbillon In A Sea Of Glamour Watch Releases The Nivrel Shark Sea Tourbillon Is A Rare Tourbillon In A Sea Of Glamour Watch Releases The Shark Sea might be Nivrel's first tourbillon watch. They don't make the movement, but that is OK. They do enough to make it look nice. The tourbillon is displayed on the face underneath a substantial looking bridge. This is a basic tourbillon without the frills of fancier ones, but at what I would imagine is about k, this represents a bargain in the tourbillon world. The movement itself is pretty hardy. It is a manually wound 120 hour power reserve (with an indicator on the face of the watch) movement which has been polished up nicely by Nivrel. There is no see through case back window, but you wouldn't expect it as this is a fully capable diving watch with a water resistance of 3000 meters (yea, as in over two miles under water). The case size is 42.5mm wide and the entire watch is a strapping 18.5mm deep. The bracelet even features a diving extension clasp. This might be the only other real diving tourbillon watch other than the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Tourbillon.

Where have I seen this look before? MB&F founder Max Busser doesn't hide the fact that he is inspired by science fiction and related culture in the creation of his timepiece novelties. The new MB&F No. 3 reminds me of a place between Star Wars' C3PO, "Batteries Not Included's" Wheem babybot, and Futurama's Bender. Compare the images, and I think you'll agree. Besides those references, there are plenty of other tech culture influences that went into the design of the No. 3 Sidewinder and Starcruiser.
